CPR for the Community & Workplace + Basic First AidAdult only is a 5-6 hour class Adult, Child & Infant is an 8 hour class Can split over two days, approximately 3-4 hours each day, to ease scheduling conflicts CPR for Child Care Providers + First AidMeets all State of California EMSA requirements for licensed Child Care Providers Includes Pediatric CPR for Child & Infant plus Adult CPR This class is 8 hours in length as required for EMSA State of California mandates (4 hours for CPR, 4 hours for First Aid) CPR PRO for Medical ProfessionalsThis class is for Medical Professionals such as Doctors, Nurses and EMT's. Includes CPR for all ages; Adult, Child & Infant, plus AED and more skills. This class is 6-8 hours in length
Covers public access to AED's (Automated External Defibrillators) & training for a layperson's use of an AED. This training prepares class for all AED's, including the AED you may have at your office. Usually part of a CPR class, can only be taught to persons who have received CPR training within the past 1 year or concurrently as part of a CPR training class. As part of a CPR class, adds another 1-1.5 hours on average to the CPR class. As a stand-alone class, basic principles of CPR must be reviewed and average class time is 2-2.5 hours
Provides training & information for complying with the FDA requirement for training in emergency oxygen administration. Usually part of a CPR class and adds less than an hour to the class time.
Can be taught as part of a CPR or First Aid class, or can be a stand alone class. This class is also listed in the section on Safety. Class provides information on exposure control to prevent Bloodborne Pathogen infection in event of a First Aid or CPR incident.
